Organized by the Frisco Chamber Foundation, The Texas Big Star Half Marathon & 5K has raised almost $300,000 and all funds go to benefit non-profit 501c3 charitable organizations within the North Texas community. Don’t miss out on this local charity race, with big race feel.

PARKING
If arriving past 6:30a, all participants must park at the Career & Technical Education Center (9889 Wade Blvd, Frisco, TX 75035), across Wade Blvd from the race site.
RACE RESULTS AND AWARDS
Race results will be available on tablets in the Finishers Fest area shortly after participants cross the finish line.
There will be no medals for the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, but finishers under the age of 12 will receive a Finisher’s Ribbon.
Overall top 5 M/F for the Half Marathon will receive the following cash prizes:
1st: $400, 2nd: $250, 3rd: $150, 4th: $100, 5th: $75
We offer age group awards for the top 3 M/F in the following categories:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 & 70+
FINISHER'S MEDALS
All finishers will receive a finisher medal. We’re excited to unveil the second medal in our three-series for the half marathon race. Come back next year to complete the series! Our 2024 5K medal has a similar train design, but the 5K medal is smaller and not part of a series.
There will be no medals for 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk but participants under the age of 12 will receive a Finisher’s Ribbon.

Once again, the Texas Big Star Half & 5K is pleased to bring you The Warrior Sprint – a sprint segment of the half marathon route to honor and recognize our nation’s veterans. This year the Sprint will occur at the finish line.
Note: All race participants are automatically registered for the segment and there is no additional charge. You can choose to sprint this section or just continue your race pace.
While the Sprint is no additional cost to our runners, we encourage you to make
a donation to its beneficiary, The Warrior’s Keep, an all-volunteer veterans’ non-
profit whose mission is to provide Outdoor Adventure Therapy (OATH) to our
nation’s heroes. You can make donations here.
The winners of the Warrior Sprint will receive a special medal.
